Lifeguards at the Walt Disney World® Resort have more- more options, more respect, and more fun.

With our 5 beaches, 10 marinas, more than 50 resort pools and two water parks, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, we have everything from lazy rivers to wave pools to make Guests' dreams come true.

Lifeguarding responsibilities include providing for the well-being of Guests, keeping the pool areas clean, answering Guest questions and providing information, and assisting in boat or towel rentals. The role can also include positions in Slide Operations, Marina Operations, and Pool Attendants.

After 90 days, lifeguards may be asked to work the same role at different resort locations due to flexible deployment.

Certification training is provided and conducted over three consecutive days, held on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday.
