Catch a Performance of the Hit Broadway Musical Mary Poppins
Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins has just become the 24th longest-running musical in Broadway history, and it's coming to a theatre near you! The touring production of the Broadway mainstay, which officially premiered in 2006, kicks off a visit to the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles on August 9, concluding September 2. After that, the show travels to the East Coast for engagements in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania, just to name a few.

Kids Can Enter a "Frankenweenie" Science Fair
Discovery Science Center is partnering with the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood to host a "Frankenweenie" Science Fair in conjunction with the October 5th release of the Tim Burton film. The science fair will gather the best and brightest students to compete for three grand prizes. Participating students will conduct and submit their own inventive science experiment. Participants must be entering the 2012-13 school year as a 5th-12th grade student.

Glow with the Show at Disney California Adventure Park
Guests at Disney California Adventure Park get the unique opportunity to "Glow with the Show" at the World of Color nighttime spectacular and at the Mad T Party with a special set of ears that debuted this summer. The magical Glow with the Show Ear Hats let guests take part in the celebration with Mickey Ears that light up and flash to the beat at both events. And that's not all...the ears will also interact with other parts of the park, including Cars Land!

Visitors to Walt Disney World Resort are in for a special treat this week. Fans of the hit Disney Junior series "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" can catch Sharky and Bones from the Never Land Pirate Band performing a selection of songs on stage at Downtown Disney August 3-12.
