Be Our Guest Restaurant Opening in November At Magic Kingdom Park
The new Be Our Guest Restaurant, which will open in the Magic Kingdom Park on November 19, provides a whole new level of theming for a Disney restaurant. It will transport diners to the magical world of the Disney film, "Beauty and the Beast."
During the day, the restaurant will serve up quick-service cuisine, so guests can get back into the park quickly. In the evening, the storybook restaurant transforms into a traditional table-service restaurant where guests can spend quality time with family and friends over a delicious meal.
The restaurant features three unique dining rooms, each themed differently. The areas include the West Wing, featuring an enchanted rose, the Rose Gallery with twirling, figures of Bell and Beast, and the Ballroom, styled with a domed ceiling, chandeliers and views of falling snow.
The French-inspired cuisine served includes such menu items as the classic croque monsieur (ham and cheese sandwich), tuna Niçoise salad, and grilled steak sandwich with garlic butter spread, and pommes frites (French fries). At dinner guests will find braised pork, grilled strip steak with pommes frites, French onion soup and vegetable quiche, accompanied by a selection of wine and beer that complements the cuisine. (Menus are subject to change)

Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort: Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree Hosts Halloween Carnival
Halloween Time at Disneyland Park officially began on September 14. Something new to explore this Halloween Time, is happening over at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree in Frontierland. You'll find a Halloween Carnival filled with fun for the whole family, including some of your favorite Disney characters in Halloween costumes, special Halloween entertainment, amazing pumpkin carvers, activities, holiday merchandise, and yummy treats.
You can make your own Halloween mask at the craft station, and then join Mickey Mouse and his pals in a "Mask-arade." Try your hand at carnival games, like tossing rings on a witch’s hat or spinning the Crystal Ball Fortune Wheel to seek your own happy Halloween fortune. Favorite Frontierland musical group joins the fun, too, as Billy Hill and the "Haunted" Hillbillies take the stage six times a day for a round of spooky tunes, all done in their bluegrass style.
And don’t forget to check out the Astounding Cauldron of Magic Sideshow. Dare to venture into this tented area, and you may be asked to help cast a magic spell, conjuring a Disney Villain from his or her realm to meet your group before returning to worlds beyond. Disney Villains fans will want to visit more than once, since you never know which Disney Villain might be summoned each time.
The Halloween Carnival at Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree opens today and continues most days through October 31. Please check the park Times Guide for daily operating schedules.
